Privacy Policy

This page explains what happens to your information when you visit sunilbhatia.ai. The short version: this site collects almost nothing about you, and sells nothing to anyone.

“I”, “me” and “my” mean Sunil Bhatia, an individual, who runs this site and decides how any information here is handled.

The short version

• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for.
• No cookies. This site does not set any.
• No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no tracking pixel, no heatmap tool.
• No advertising and no trackers. Nothing on these pages is loaded from another company’s servers.
• No mailing list, unless and until I add one — and I will update this page and its date before I do.

What is collected

Server logs. Like every web server, mine records a line for each request so I can keep the site running and see if something is broken or under attack. Each line holds your IP address, the page you asked for, the date and time, your browser’s user-agent string, and the page that referred you if there was one.

These logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically. They are not used to build a profile of you, and they are never combined with anything else.

Anything you send me. If you email support@sunilbhatia.ai, I have your email address and whatever you wrote. I keep that correspondence for as long as it is useful — usually so I can follow up — and then delete it.

Payments, if you ever buy something. If I sell webinars, books or courses, the payment is handled by a third-party payment provider. Your card details go to them, not to me. I only receive what I need to give you access and keep proper records: usually your name, email address and what you bought. Their own privacy policy will apply to the payment, and I will name the provider on the page where you buy.

Why

Server logs exist to keep the site available and secure — nothing more. Email exists so I can answer you. Purchase records exist because I have to keep them for tax and accounting.

Who else sees it

Nobody, with three narrow exceptions:

• my hosting provider, whose servers the site runs on;
• a payment provider, if you buy something;
• anyone I am legally required to give it to.

I do not sell your information, and I do not share it for advertising. There is no third party embedded in these pages collecting anything.

Links to other sites

When you follow a link to another website — LinkedIn, a bookshop, a documentation page — that site’s own privacy policy takes over. I have no control over what they collect.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Logs sit on a server I control, with access restricted to me. I keep the software patched. No system is perfectly secure, but there is very little here to lose, which is by design.

Your choices

Because there are no accounts and no tracking, there is very little of yours to correct or delete. If you have emailed me and want that correspondence deleted, or you want to know what I hold about you, write to support@sunilbhatia.ai and I will deal with it — normally within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, you may have specific legal rights over your personal information, including the right to access it, correct it, or ask for it to be deleted. The same address is where to exercise them.

Children

This site is written for working professionals and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If I add anything that collects more than this page describes — analytics, a newsletter, comments — I will update this page and change the date at the top before turning it on. It is worth checking the date if you care.
